Boot Hill Casino Makes Donation to local Charities

December 23, 2011

(Dodge City, Kansas) December 22, 2011—On Thursday, December 22, 2011, Boot Hill Casino & Resort made a large donation of non-perishable food items, clothing and toys to several local charities.  Charities include the Crisis Center of Dodge City, United Methodist Mexican-American Ministries of Dodge City, Catholic charities of Dodge City, and Manna House of Dodge City.

Throughout December, Boot Hill Casino & Resort Team Members and guests donated new toys, clothes, and non-perishable food items.  Guests were rewarded $10 in free play for their donation.  Over 3,500 canned goods were collected and combined with the Team Member donations for a total donation of nearly 5,000 items.

“The amount of donations brought in by our guests and Team Members exceeded our goals and expectations.  We’re thrilled to help the local communities through these charities,” said Sharon Stroburg, General Manager of Boot Hill Casino & Resort.

This donation is on the heels of the food drive Boot Hill Casino & Resort Team Members collected in November to benefit the Manna House in Dodge City, Kansas.
