City of Dodge City seeking applicants

The city of Dodge City is seeking applications from residents of Dodge City to fill expiring/vacant terms on the city-appointed boards and commissions.  The boards and commissions serve to make city government reflective of the attitudes and beliefs of its residents.

Applications for the following boards/commissions will be accepted until noon Jan. 30:  Airport Advisory Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, Building Board of Appeals, Golf Advisory Board, Historic Landmark Commission, Housing Authority Board, Library Board, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, Shade Tree Commission, Santa Fe Trails Community Corrections Advisory Board, and Zoning Board.

Applications for the Convention & Visitors Bureau will be accepted to fill positions in the hospitality and at-large categories.

Applications are available at City Hall, 806 N.

Appointments will be made at the Feb. 6 Dodge City Commission meeting.
