Dodge City Christmas Tree Disposal

City staff will begin to remove Christmas decorations beginning January 9th. Any decorations that have been placed in Maple GroveCemetery need to be removed by January 8th.
Park staff will also be taking down decorations in WrightPark. Organizations or residents who decorated trees in WrightPark should remove the lights and decorations by January 8th.
There are two options for disposal of real Christmas trees. The sanitation division will pick up the trees when placed at the curb. Residents can also drop off their tree at the fenced in disposal site at the entrance of the old McCarty Stadium off of Park Street. In both cases, all decorations and stands need to be removed.
